  1. Confirm eligibility and review your record carefully.
  2. Create a USCIS online account at myaccount.uscis.gov.
  3. Prepare and file Form N-400 with the required evidence.
  4. Complete biometrics if USCIS schedules an appointment.
  5. Attend your interview and civics/English assessment.
  6. Receive a decision and, if approved, take the Oath of Allegiance.
